Dr. Larry McKinney is the Executive Director of the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and also the Executive Director of Texas OneGulf, a RESTORE Center of Excellence.
Texas OneGulf is a multidisciplinary consortium of research institutes led by the Harte Research Institute and include scientists and expert researchers in the fields of environment, economy and human health. The consortium was created to provide quick response and problem-solving to events such as the die-off reported near Galveston at the East Flower Garden Bank.
