The Corpus Christi Downtown Management District (DMD) is a municipal management district created by the Texas State Legislature and enabled by Chapter 375 of the Texas Local Government Code. The DMD promotes the economic growth and development of Downtown Corpus Christi, Texas. The DMD’s vision is to establish and promote a safe, clean, pedestrian friendly community comprised of a vibrant central business district, arts and culture, sports and entertainment areas.
