The Sarita Rain Garden is 1 of the 1285 grants, totaling $82M for the fiscal year 2023-24. For this project The Rotary Club of Corpus Christi (RCCC) is partnering with 7 Rotary Clubs and 5 Rotary Districts in 4 Countries.This project is unusual in that it is here in the United States instead of a foreign country. The environment is the newest area of focus for Rotary. We have 7:Basic education and literacy; Community economic development; Disease prevention and treatment; Maternal and child health; peace building and conflict prevention; water sanitation, hygiene and Environment. All monies for these grants are from the Rotary International's 501C3 foundation. The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty.
