In August 2014, Dr. Hernandez was named as the new Superintendent of Schools. “I do think it takes everybody in the District – school board members, superintendent, leadership team, administrators, teachers, families, and students, themselves – to be about what we are trying to accomplish. And so if we make the expectations clear, we certainly can continue to move our District forward and continue to reach levels we have not been at before.”
