August 8, 2019 meeting

Minta Moore learned of the problem of human trafficking in 2007 and felt moved to do something to help children who have been enslaved in the sex trafficking industry. Like many people, she thought it was an international issue but, none-the-less, wanted to help. However after much research she learned that the problem is here, in our communities, and the victims in the U.S. are not mostly international but were U.S. born. Minta further learned that survivors had little to no services available to them. Mrs. Moore realized what a tremendous need there is for homes that serve the specialized needs of these children. Join us Thursday to hear more about New Life Refuge Ministries.
