John Martinez, Volunteer Manager with Christus Hospice, will be presenting an introduction to Hospice and the importance of Volunteering for Hospice. Christus Hospice has been in operation for 40 years here in the Coastal Bend. The Hospice Program has been around since the early days of the Catholic Church where is was a corporal work of mercy to take care of the sick and dying. Please come and hear the history of Hospice and how important a volunteer is in the process of moving on.
