March 4, 2021 meeting

Thursday’s program speaker will be Bishop Mulvey of The Diocese of Corpus Christi. Church and society are not opposing realities.  Seeing each other as such creates conflict.  Working together on common needs brings results and constructive collaboration.

The Church is concerned with integral human development and the common good.  In my experience, there is an extraordinary strength when the secular orders address the needs of human persons together.

The COVID Pandemic has exposed the “cries” of people today.  Their “cries” are heard at the level of education, material need and spiritual search.  With the contribution of all, we are capable of offering a response that brings human dignity and life to others.  “None can face life in isolation” as affirmed by Pope Francis in Fratelli Tutti.
