“Rotary Means Business” luncheon

“Rotary Means Business”  Luncheon

It’s time again for one of our Member’s most favorite programs: Rotary Means Business, formerly called the vocational luncheon. Rotary’s name came from the group’s early practice of rotating meetings among the offices of its members. Hence, we “go back to our roots” this week of Vocational Luncheons at various business locations.

This is the one Thursday Rotary lunch  meeting that our meeting is NOT held at the Ortiz Center.  Instead, each member has the opportunity to select from one of the host sites, whose program topic is selected by the Rotarian host business.   Deadline:  Monday afternoon.

Host sites with availability are:  Carr, Riggs, & Ingram (CPA firm); Driscoll Children’s Hospital; Deaf & Hard of Hearing Center; Merrill Lynch; The Salvation Army; and USO South Texas.

This remarkable program featured photos and insights into the lives of each delegate, highlights of ongoing efforts during the war in Ukraine, and a reflection on pre-war Ukraine. We are truly grateful for this enlightening presentation and feel privileged to have met such inspiring individuals who are making a significant impact on their country and community. ...
