Have you ever noticed the tiny plastic pellets that have washed up on the sands of our local beaches?  They’re called nurdles and are among the most insidious form of plastic pollution that has contaminated every continent on Earth. It kills wildlife from whales to sea turtles.

Jace W. Tunnell, Reserve Director at University of Texas Marine Science Institute, will talk about what nurdles are, how they get into the environment, what the impacts are, and what is being done about it.
